Just wondering which scene is funny. I have not read the book and would like an example. The picture helps me understand a little. I also know the author is funny. Maybe next time you can tell us a funny scene. I can definitely tell you love the books.
I love Mo Willems' books, too! I like how you used a text bubble in your picture. My kindergarten students are starting an author study on Mo Willems and your picture is so great! Do you have any advice for them?
Some advice for Ms. Kinsey's kindergartners from Miss Hamman's Thinkers: 1. Mo uses speech bubbles when his characters talk! You should try that! 2. He tells the story by having the characters talk and with the pictures. 3. Mo makes his stories short and easy to read. 4. Mo always makes the Pigeon get really mad and uses lots of exclamation points in that part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
